Shipping & Returns & Warranty

Shipping Policies

At With the Gritz we understand the convenience of having everything shipped to your door. 

At this time we do not offer free shipping or expedited shipping. Always feel free to contact us if shipping rates seem wrong.

With the Gritz does not ship outside the US

Out of Stock / Backordered Items

At With the Gritz we strive to keep every order feel as custom made as possible. If you would like us to build you something that is out-of-stock or to have you own take on a current product we can do this.

Please allow 2 weeks for any custom order or adjustment.

Returns

With the Gritz has a 15 day return policy. While we strive for photos to be the best representation of the boards we are selling we realize photos and lighting can affect the look of our product. If you are unhappy in any way we will return it with-in 15 days.

***Please note that refunds are issued for the product value less payment processing fees. Shipping and/or handling charges are non-refundable. 
***Any item that is forwarded to an address outside of the U.S will void warranty and will be nonreturnable.

Damaged Or Lost Items

With the Gritz is not responsible items lost or damaged in transit. No need to worry though! We will work with our carriers on your behalf to file insurance claims so you don't have to! Once the claims process is successfully resolved, you will be issued a refund or replacement item.

Damaged Item

If an item you purchased is found to be damaged during shipment, please contact us immediately with your order number and tracking number. We will file a damage claim with the carrier and handle the claims process on our end. It is important to note that in order for a UPS/USPS/FEDEX damaged shipment claim to be processed, you must retain the original packaging, and provide proof of damage during shipment in order for us to process the claim. This process can take 1-2 weeks. During this time you must maintain possession of the item as well as all of its packaging. DO NOT ship a damaged item back to us as this will often void any shipping insurance. We will refuse any damaged shipments sent to us without a proper RA number. 

Lost Item

If an item is lost in transit, contact us with your order number and tracking number. We will file a lost items claim with the carrier, or replace the item depending on the circumstance. Often, lost items will end up being delivered after a week or so of inactivity. We do require a waiting period of 2 weeks before any refunds/replacements are issued in order to insure that the item truly is lost. 


Warranty

All our boards come with a Limited Lifetime Warranty

At “with the Gritz” we believe a well made cutting board will outlive you or I. That is why we include a Limited Lifetime warranty on all “with the Gritz” cutting & serving boards.

A warranty does not cover wear or maintenance but protects you against any manufacturing flaws or mistakes. I mean we are human and mistakes happen so give us a chance to make it right.

Warranty will be at the discretion of “with the Gritz” due to the following care guidelines

Do not put boards of any kind in the dishwasher.

Do not dunk or submerge in water

Simply rinse with soap and water and towel dry. 

Make sure to get both sides of the board wet even though only one side may be dirty

Let air dry standing on edge

Do not keep boards in the refrigerator or freezer.

Use a cutting board conditioner periodically.
(our brand is recommended)

Both a dry board or a wet board can cause warping.

If you have a Warranty Claim please contact our shop first. DO NOT send us your cutting board without making arrangements first! Once arrangements have been made we will need to see the cutting board, in most cases physically take possession of it. We will then assess what plan of action to take from that point.

Please note: if any repairs have to be made using new lumber that may be subject to what is available at the time of repair. Also because we are working with a natural resource, grain patterns and colorations are subject to be slightly different. Our shop cannot control nature but only marvel at its beauty.

Warranty does not cover any hardware used on cheese slicers or Lazy Susans ect.
